Northside started in 2017 as a single cart on Mississippi Avenue. Sisters Dani and Priya Mohan grew up drinking their grandmother's filter coffee in Chennai and wanted to recreate that feeling of quiet ritual in a city that never stops moving.

Today we operate three cafes, a roastery, and a monthly subscription that ships to all 50 states. Every bag carries a lot number tied back to the farm, the harvest date, and the farmer who grew it.
